Could always be worse.  Ask the Chicago Bears.

Yeah they 'll probably screw up there higher position winning a few games for ole Virg and Schweddy  ,.. knowing them,.,..,   just  like they did back when they went 4-12  the season before Peyton  came out  ,.. not like it would have mattered anyway  ,..  Manning  would have been bust  if had been drafted by the Bears ,..as it's clear the Bears do not  know how to bring a QB  along and make him a worthy adversary.

MAYBE the  Ricketts and Wirtz Families can buy out the McCantski's,...... YES ????

That's a real shame because they seem to be getting the right pieces in place.  Except the QB position of course.  I was surprised the Bears didn't consider Hundley as a late round prospect a couple of years ago. Packers got him in the 5th.  Or even Dak for the Cowboys.  Someone.  Especially with the uncertainty with Cutler.  Better to groom someone vs immediately throwing them into the fire.  Very few rookie QB's succeed that way.  And you're right, Bears must bring someone in who can develop a QB or he'll get killed in Chicago.

Bears scouting department does not know how to evaluate a QB. Just look at the last four late round development players they did take. David Fales, Nathan Enderle, Dan LeFevour, Kyle Orton.

One of four Qb's that panned out in the last 15 years. Yeah they really know the position.

You just wait till next year!

They should draft one every year.  Perhaps in the earlier rounds if need be.  Eventually, they will hit.  Packers seem to pick one up every draft and though it doesn't always work out, they have found some good players.  Bears just seem to ignore the position too often and that's been their downfall IMO.  It's really hard to win in this league without a great QB.
