Re: New York Jets: Jay Cutler Projected As 2017 Starting Quarterback

Jay to the Jets would re-unite all the old washed up ex-Bears for  a reunion tour.

Jay, Matt and Marshall, will recruit FA Jeffrey to come there so they can break all the Nfl records but still go 5 - 11 and get their coach fired.

***Mike is our Quarterback - And we will go from there!***

Chicago Bears.......Under construction.

Year 3 of a 4 year re-build.

From what I'm reading, speculation is Todd Bowles will not be fired by the Jets after Sunday.

So yeah there would be opportunity there! LoL

Ithink you may be right. Marshall sounds like a player who wants his side job to become his full time gig.

I think if the Jets did hire Jay that Marshall would retire. Otherwise he would have to eat a lot of crow.

Train like you are 2nd, but play like you are 1st.

"He has three winning seasons under his belt..."

In 11 years.

and how many Packer Receptions (picks) wink

how some seeing this clown getting signed by anyone is beyond me ,... I've known he wasn't anything special when he was in Denver

::::::Shruggin Shouldlers :::::::

That would be 22 Packer "receptions" in  13 games... and a 2-11 record against them.

18-23 against NFC north all-time (17-21 against them as a Bear)

nothing special in denver? He was heading up lol...Id say the lack of jays success in Chicago is more at the hands of the organization than on him....history kind of backs this up...and Im sure about 30 other Qbs would be in line to argue the same just sayin ;)

Well Ron Turner pulled what should have been a pro bowl year out of Erik Kramer in 1995 but couldn't make head ways with Cutler... I just feel Cutler could have been paired with the same coaches for 10 years and he would still be the same guy.  Just doesn't seem to be the most coachable guy or are the Bears just that awful at selecting offensive coaches.

I wish I knew...hell he could be just an uncoachable guy, but all I can do is go with the evidence provided....and the evidence say Chicago hasnt done jack for offense since Ditka and he was blessed with Sir Walter...Ditka did finally give him a line to work with though, but since then Chicago has SHAT on the offensive side of the ball and especially the QB position...Jay did come off of a pro bowl year in Denver after he almost died form a disease in 07 lol, so Id say as a young gun slinger he probably would have seen much more success in Denver had they stayed the course rather than going to where Qbs go to die.

and honestly I dont think Turner should have been fired after the first year...I think he was an Angelo/Smith scapegoat

Actually the offense got very good in the 90s under Wannstedt, they just played horrid defense, which is why they rarely visited the playoffs.  Which was surprising considering Wanny was a defensive coordinator before he took over.
